Trip Home

Checked out of the hotel, handed over the pager (which kept on producing "false alarms", so I was really glad to get rid of it), and got a lift to the airport from the hotel manager.

Checked my bags, and hung out at the airport for a while. I admired the way the snow mounded up against the security fence, making it easy to climb over, and the German helicopter in town for cold weather trials.

The flights were on time and not too busy. Leave Iqaluit 13:50 for Montreal via Kuujjuaq.

Leave Montreal 19:00, arriving Toronto 20:22

It was nice to see trees again, but I had no time for the hustle and bustle of Montreal airport. Not really enthused about being away from the simple beauty of the arctic and back amongst the throng of people.
