Protect Canadian teenagers from tobacco by increasing the minimum legal age for buying tobacco products to 21.
This site is no longer maintained. As of August 2022, one Canadian province (PEI) has raised the legal age for tobacco purchase to 21.In other provinces the minimum legal age is either 18 or 19. When the Federal government set the minimum legal age for cannabis ato 18, it seemed unlikely that they would ever set a higher legal age limit on tobacco. Here are some links:
