I was born in Newport South Wales. My father was born in Swansea. He was one of six, all boys called David R. all girls called R. There was Robert,(my father) Ronald and Roy then there was Rose, Ray and Ruth. My grandfather whom I never knew, came from Yorkshire I believe. I have often tried to get the family to talk about the ancestors but some how they have been very reluctant to do this. Please keep in touch, we were in Toronto only this last July. I have just asked for some recent photos of my grandchildren, when they arrive I will scan them and pass them on.

Recently (June 97) we were in Toronto and I think that it must be the first phone book that I did not check for our name. In the Bedford U.K. phone book there are six listings and I think there are more in York. Now you are opening up something that I have been trying to do for ages. I have old photos of my mothers side of the family but not of my fathers side. Maybe someone out there knows something about my history. Regards, Dennis O.
